I'm continuing my celebration of the KDVS physical media archives by digging into something I keep forgetting is here - compilation albums! For so many of us, this was where we discovered our favorite artists. The music is, importantly, curated. The best of the best is here. And there's stuff you wouldn't expect from record companies you've never heard of. Me personally, my life was completely changed by the Alligator Records 25th Anniversary compliation thirty years ago. Time to dig back into 'em again. This morning, dig songs pulled straight from those old vinyl comps, and screw the algorythym. Dig!
