The moral of the stories to be read this morning will swirl around fables - specifically, Aesop's Fables. I remember my brother reading these fables when we were kids. For some reason, this memory passed through my mind recently and I felt it would be fun to read them on this edition of Lettuce Listen. Fables are especially valuable to children as they typically encompass morals that often help shape a child's set of principles, values and general behavior as he or she progresses through life. Although, Aesop's fables were initially written for children and slaves, they are definitely valuable to adults as well!
