The Front Porch Blues Show

JD Esquire

Rich Blackmarr will host another Rockin' In Rhythm Archives edition of the Front Porch Blues Show tonight on KDVS.  The program will feature blues and bluesy R&B recordings that were recorded or released from late 1957 through the end of 1958.  For many of the blues records featured, you will hear both the A and B sides of the single releases (45 rpm discs).  Artists will include many well known musicians.  They will range from Little Milton, Elmore James, B.B. King, and Etta James to Howlin' Wolf, Memphis Slim, Magic Sam, and Jimmy Witherspoon.
