Today's show will be comprised of what might be considered as a "merging" of country and blues music. I'll narrow in on prison songs recorded between 1956 and 1972. The next focus will encompass country music mainly recorded down in Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana between 1927 and 1933. Hopefully, I'll have time to play the final five songs comprised of country/blues recordings made by female musicians between 1924 and 1928.
