i'll finish reading from  "Biography of a Grizzly" written by Ernest Thompson Seton in 1900. Next, I plan on reading a number of short stories from various writers who describe their experience living in the San Joaquin Valley. Some of the authors are quite well known (William Sayoran and John Steinbeck come to mind). Several of the stories are written by lesser known folks - however, each tale focuses on the nature of life in the San Joaquin Valley that runs about 250 miles between Stockton in the north to Bakersfield in the south. Some of the stories are based upon memories that revolve around the San Joaquin Valley many years ago...
