Old time radio science fiction! I'll play an episode of "Lights Out" entitled "The Meteor Man" first broadcast on December 22nd 1942. "A shooting star brings to earth a protoplasmic invader from a dying planet. Will its unholy hunger for human flesh doom the Earth"?. The next radio show will be an episode of  "X Minus One" entitled "Mars is Heaven" first broadcast on May 8th, 1955. "When the first Earthmen land on Mars, they discover their fondest memories of Earth recreated upon the Martian surface, as the astronauts are welcomed to Mars by their own dead relatives and friends from years gone by. Is Mars truly heaven or a hellish trap designed to gain the astronauts' trust"?  These two shows will be prefaced by commentary from Ray Bradbury. I'll also talk about the mysterious beliefs surrounding mysticism. If time permits, I'll inform the listening audience about the stretch of Highway 50 stretching across the width of Nevada. It is often referred to as "TheLoneliest Road in America".
