The Front Porch Blues Show

JD Esquire & mario & Rich Blackmarr

Tonight Rich Blackmarr will host another Rockin' In Rhythm Archives edition of the Front Porch Blues Show.  The first hour of the program will be devoted to blues artists with birthdays in June.  These blues personalities of the past will include ones born from from 1884 to 1942.  Those with the earliest starts to their recording careers are Sara Martin, Big Bill Broonzy, and Memphis Minnie.  The most recent ones include Lazy Lester, Sugarcane Harris, and James Carr.  The rest of the Show will feature a grab-bag of seven-inch 45-rpm discs that I have collected over the years ranging from Bo Diddley and Sugar Pie DeSanto to Lorraine Ellison and Mighty Joe Young.
