¡Hoy tenemos un programa genial, con un invitado especial! Entrevistamos al Dr. Daniel Paredes Llanes. Les dejamos una pequeña biografía redactada por el mismo, para que lo vayan conociendo: Nacido y criado en Extremadura, abandona su región con 25 años en busca de la realización de un Doctorado en Agroecología. Recaba en Granada, la maravillosa ciudad del sur de España que lo acoge durante 10 años y le da vida y experiencia. Como buen polluelo cuando crece, el nido se le hace pequeño y decide volar en busca de nuevos horizontes que estimulen su persona y su profesión. Y decide volar mucho y comienza un viaje que le lleva primero a Davis, después a Viena. Mas tarde se muda a vivir a Portugal, pero ya tenía un compromiso profesional en Davis que le hace volver a la ciudad del condado de Yolo donde reside actualmente.

Incansable viajero, su próximo destino espera que sea estable. Un buen puerto desde donde el que partir hacia nuevas y esporádicas aventuras que no generen tanta incertidumbre. Esto es lo que espera, pero lo ve difícil. Además, tiene la duda de que la estabilidad no sea ese oasis anhelado y siempre piensa que cuando la tenga querrá perderla otra vez y navegar, de nuevo en la incertidumbre. De todas formas, quiere probar, así que cuando se marche de California intentará volver cerca de la tierra que le vio nacer.

 

Today we have a great program, with a special guest! We interview Dr. Daniel Paredes Llanes. We leave you a short biography for you to get more acquainted. In his own words: Born and raised in Extremadura, he leaves his region at 25 years of age in search of the completion of a Doctorate in Agroecology. Once in Granada, the wonderful city of southern Spain welcomes him for 10 years and gives him a great life and experience. As a good chick that grows up, the nest becomes small and decides to fly in search of new horizons that esteems his humanity and his profession. And he decides to fly a lot and begins a journey that takes him to Davis, first, then to Vienna. He later moved to Portugal, but he already had a professional commitment in Davis that makes him return to the city in Yolo County where he currently resides.

Tireless traveler, he expects his next destination to be stable. A good port from where the new and sporadic adventures do not generate so much uncertainty. This is what he expects, but he sees it difficult. In addition, he has doubts that stability is a desired oasis and always thinks that when he has the need to run loose again and navigate, again in uncertainty, he may take the chance. In any case, he wants to try, so when he leaves California, he will try to return close to the land where he was born.
