Rich Blackmarr will host the Front Porch Blues Show this evening and will feature a program of blues, bluesy R&B, and jazz from the year 1957. Recordings will range from Chicago blues recordings of Lee Jackson, Howlin' Wolf, Eddie Taylor, and Betty Everett to New Orleans stylings from Professor Longhair, Chris Kenner, and Bobby Marchan to jazz-blues vocals from Betty Roche', Johnny Hartman, and Dakota Staton, with a couple gospel numbers to boot.
