The Front Porch Blues Show

Rich Blackmarr will host the Front Porch Blues Show this evening. The program will take another look at blues, bluesy R&B, and jazz from the year 1958. Featured artists will range from Chicago bluesmen Magic Sam , J.B. Lenoir, and Bobby Parker to bluesy doowoppers the Five Royales and the Midnighters to the jazz bands of Horace Silver and Art Blakey. There will be forgotten early recordings from Sugar Pie DeSanto, the Shirelles, and Dave ('Baby' Cortez) Clowney.
