The Front Porch Blues Show
JD Esquire
Rich Blackmarr will host the Front Porch Blues Show this evening to bring you another Rockin' In Rhythm Archives edition of blues, jazz, and R&B from the year 1962. Featured singers will range from Eddie Jefferson and Etta Jones on the jazz side to Carol Fran and Jimmy McCracklin on the R&B/blues side. All with a strong blues feel, also included will be instrumentals from Kenny Burrell & Coleman Hawkins, Count Basie, and Pony Poindexter. We'll also hear both sides of the only record that Chicago-based bluesman Otis Rush cut between 1960 and 1965.
