This week my guests are the members of the dreamy, alt-rock band Doombird.

We sat down for an interview after the soundcheck for their very first Sofar preformance, held out on the front patio of the restaurant Canon in East Sac. We devled pretty deep into their writing process, the recording of their album Past Lives, as well as their take on the Sacrmento music scene. It was wonderful to hear how the band reshaped their material for the Sofar event, which was basically a pop-up style show with minimal sound reinforcement.
