On Monday through Wednesday (5/7 to 5/9), UC service workers, such as the dining commons staff, janitorial workers and UC medical center workers, will be going on strike. 

While these workers support and serve UC communities directly every day, the UC refuses to pay them enough to support themselves and their families. 

On WEDNESDAY, 5/9 at 11:15 AM, Davis USAS will march through campus to the AFSCME 3299 picket line, to show that students ARE in solidarity with the UC workers! These workers have the right to strike and are NOT a inconvenience to the UC community. Although UC administrator's point them as such. 

The UC wouldn't run without these workers. They support us every day, and now they need our support, too.

****Please feel free to also join the workers at the picket lines throughout the day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as well!!!!
