This week on Local Dirt, we talked with Valerie Gorospe of the Center on Race, Poverty and the Environment and Eriberto Fernandez of the United Farmworker Foundation about a farmworker pesticide exposure incident that happened in Kern County on August 2 that has since been linked to the chemical Chlorpyrifos. 

We also aired the first part of a 2-part interview with Jared Zystro of the Organic Seed Alliance. We talked to Jared about what an organic seed is and about the structure of the Organic Seed Industry. Stay tuned for part 2 next time!
