Rich Blackmarr will be your host this evening on the Front Porch Blues Show. The program will take a second look at blues and bluesy R&B releases from the year 1962. Featured artists will range from Chicago blues performers Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, and Sonny Boy Williamson to the gospel-bred harmonies of the Sims Twins, Johnnie Taylor, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, and Sam Cooke's brother L.C. Cooke. Other artists will include guitarist Roy Buchanan, Freddy King, Jimmy Witherspoon, Earl King, Bobby Bland, B.B. King, Etta James, Esther Phillips, Junior Parker, Barbara Lynn, Johnny Watson, and more.
