Rich Blackmarr will be your host on the Front Porch Blues Show this evening. The subject of the program will be a survey of the blues recordings released in the last quarter of 1953 from October through December of that year. Blues and bluesy R&B was a major force in African-American oriented music marketed in 1953. Among the artists that will be featured in this evening's show will be John Lee Hooker, Christine Kittrell, Little Walter, Memphis Minnie, Amos Milburn, Big Mama Thornton, B.B.
