Upper Realm Shrieks: Music and Words

Last week the more powerful antennae went out of commision during my 2nd pice which was by Hella.  I was hella distracted by my 1st phone call where they were advising me to check plugs.  Robin Faux came in & said that I should broadcast as if nothing was going on because it was probably going on internet.  Her words helped me keep it together.  To this day the radio broadcast range isn't up to par but it can be heard in Davis.  The antennae is the old 1, the Clark Kerr antennae on the UC Davis campus.  I called the right people & they switched antennaes towards the end of my show.  I'm playing a combo of Screature, Eloise Klein Healy & Margeret MacArthur which was not broadcast even on the internet version cuz they were right after the Hella piece. Otherwise today there's a lot of pieces from the 1950s, 1960s  & 1970s with no spoken word other than Eloise Klein Healy.  An emphasis on 'roots' music.
