Rich Blackmarr and TJ have swapped show dates, so Rich will be hosting the Front Porch Blues Show this evening and TJ will present the FPBS on August 10th. Tonight's Front Porch program will follow up on Rich's FPBS from 4 weeks ago and will be a Part 2 look at blues records released in the year 1959. Featured artists will include Junior Wells, Howlin' Wolf, Roscoe Gordon, Ruth Brown, Jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters, Bobby 'Blue' Bland, Little Willie John, a duet from Charles Brown & Amos Milburn, Ike Turner's Kings of Rhythm, Champion Jack Dupree, Betty Everett, Lazy Lester, Junior Parker, Eddie Jefferson, and many more. A 1959 gospel set will include the Caravans, the Swanee Quintet, the Five Blind Boys of Mississippi.
