The Dreaming

General Jack & Myra Maines

On this day in history, Dracula penned the first of a series of young adult fiction books based off of his own experiences growing up in Transsexual, Transylvania. They were largely unsuccessful and he died in obscurity. After an enterprising young editor repackaged his works to suit American audiences, the series became so wildly popular with teen-aged girls that a pseudonym was attributed to it to allow the rest of the Dracula clan to enjoy some peace while quietly profiting from the ticket sales put out by the ensuing movie trilogy.
