THE SONICS, the Tacoma 60s group famous for 'The Witch' and 'Psycho' are playing Debauch-A-Reno in honor of Slovenly Records/Sticker Guy's 30th Anniversary. March 22-24th in Reno.
As far as I know, the Sonics have never played the Bay Area or Northern California, or Reno in recent years, so this should be amazing. I saw them a few years back in Long Beach, and they still had it, Gerry Roslie had the voice, and the sound was solid. Anyway, thought I'd throw my two cents out there, in addition, Mick Collins early group, the Gories are playing, and a host of other great modern groups.
We'll hear from some modern garage and psych groups tonight too. Woo hoo!
