This band really slips under your skin with sneaky melodies and grooves that mesmerize at first, but have awesome staying power. The lady singer's voice is haunting, yet so smooth. Most inventive use of a delayed sax since Night Wounds. This band is a rare treat. What if Stereolab were chopped and screwed and made to sound sexy and guttural? Or This Heat meets Linda Perhacs?
