A study by the University of Minnesota outlines the benefits we get from immersion in the natural world. An article in the NY Times elaborates on the power of positive thinking. My weekly top ten list will focus on individuals with extremely high IQs. Gee, I'm not on that list! Next, I'll focus on an interview with the top chess player for over 20 years (Gary Kasparov). The next topic will narrow in on the interaction between evolution/environment/intelligience and how Charles Darwin's theory of this subject opposes that of Jean-Baptiste Pierre Antoine de Monet, chevalier de Lemarck's philosophy on the matter. I'[m not going to elaborate on why Mr. Lemarck's name came to be so long. Next, I'll focus on a number of cartoons that were terrifying not only to children, but adults as well. The saying "nothing lasts forever" will be examined. I'll end the show with a live 1938 broadcast of H. G. Welles "War of the Worlds" narrated by Orson Welles. This was a fictional story - however, many listeners believed otherwise...
