I'll begin by playing an episode of "Escape" entitled "The Time Machine". It was aired on October 22nd, 1950 and was written by H.G. Wells in 1895. Proceeding to the next topic, I'll focus on the differences between extinction rates on islands versus the mainland and the nature of extinction in general. I'll continue by referencing a radio station in Antartica - it's collection includes about 13,000 records (probably accounting for all of the vinyl in Antarctica but no match for KDVS's massive collection)! The next topic will be geared toward the search for the oldest ice on Antartica. Following, will be coverage of the "ghostly" radio station that no one claims to run. It "broadcasts" from a marshy area near St. Petersburg, Russia. Barring time restraints, my weekly top ten list will narrow in on the ten most evil people in the history of mankind. I may relay to the audience a second top ten list - this one will focus on some of the most unusual deaths recorded over time. If time allows, I'll narrow in on the dangerous road conditions along Highway 50 in and near Sacramento.
