Today's Smiles Show will also talk kindness...what are ways that we can be kinder to ourselves and to one another, building a more positive world for all?  I'll also share some things that I have done since the beginning of 2019 in the hopes of promoting more positivity and peace in my world and in the lives of others with whom I interact. 

And, I'll also be talking a bit about the California Voter Rights Act of 2001 and "at-large" versus "by-district" elections. How are city council and school board elections evolving in California, and are they better representing the residents of cities and schools?  I'll discuss some of the possible advantages and disadvantages of the "by-district" elections and some of the early results from communities that have transitioned from "at-large" to "by-district."

Of course, I'll also provide the regular run-down of the wonderful community events happening in Davis over the next week!
