Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 10am, UC Davis Department of Chemistry hosting a special seminar: "Metal Oxy-nitride Functional Materials", located in 172 Chemistry. Metal oxynitrides have shown potential in photocatalytic water splitting, optical detection, and electrochemical applications, due to properties tuned by varying the nitrogen and oxygen content of the compound.
