when the sound first hit your eardrums, you didn't recognize it as a sound but more like a souring of the season. When your mind naturaly tried to compare it to a past noise it only remembered the the putrid din of of dishes left out way too long. Still it was a sound and one that led you trembling, through that rusted gate,and to that open oit buzzing and ozing with 20 years, 20 Chicken Years.
