Tonight the Front Porch Blues Show will be hosted by Rich Blackmarr. Following up on the show broadcast on December 15, 2013, this program will be second look at blues recordings released in the year 1963 and will include primarily records by artists that I was not able to fit in the earlier FPBS broadcast. Featured will be recordings from Dr. Feelgood & his Interns (aka Piano Red), Professor Longhair, Lightnin' Slim, Lee "Shot" Williams, Ted Taylor, Johnny Copeland, Slim Harpo, James Davis, Lowell Fulson, Percy Mayfield, and many more. Also, another look at classic tunes from Howlin' Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Johnny Taylor, and a few others included last time.
