Week 15 NFL Pick'em

San Francisco @ San Diego
Steven--San Diego. San Francisco’s performance last weekend was absolutely shocking to me. Just not shocking enough to pick them over San Diego in the middle of a playoff race.
Jack Dale- San Diego-This one’s easy. San Diego at home against a San Francisco team without Frank Gore and with Patrick Wilis and Takeo Spikes playing injured
Trevor Kuss- Niners. I wouldn’t put it past Alex Smith to play lights out for the rest of the year just to cause that much more pain to Niners fans when he’s still in the mix for starting QB next year.

Cleveland @ Cincinnati
Steven--Cincinnati. Cleveland looked somewhat back to their awful standards last weekend and Cincinnati still has T.O. and Ochocinco. I think Cincy picks up its 3rd win of the year.
Jack Dale- Cincinnati- I’m goin out on a limb with this one, but I think the Bengals are due for a win and could get one with a struggling Browns team coming to town.
Trevor Kuss- Browns. Peyton Hillis and Colt McCoy? sign me up.

Washington @ Dallas
Steven--Dallas. In the preseason, this was probably one of the more attractive matchups. Oh how things can change in only one season.
Jack Dale- Dallas- Such a crappy, crappy game. I hate that I have to pick either one of these teams. I’m in a bad mood now.
Trevor Kuss- Redskins. I think this comes down to who will find a way to lose the game, and I’ll almost always bet on the ‘Boys when it comes to that.

Houston @ Tennessee
Steven--Houston. Demoralizing season for the Titans trumps demoralizing loss last week for the Texans.
Jack Dale- Houston- Tennessee is on a downward spiral and Houston will go in and sweep the series. Let’s hope to see more Finnegan v. Johnson!
Trevor Kuss- The Andre Johnson’s. With the struggling defense for the Titans it comes down to if the Texans can put some point on the board, and after that showdown with Finnegan I think Johnson is going to be really pumped up to put up some big numbers on the Titans defense. add to it that Courtland Finnegan is a punk and not anywhere good enough to cover Johnson unless he cheats and you have a recipe for a Texans W

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis
Steven--Jacksonville. Never, ever would have made this pick prior to this season. Peyton looks out of sorts this year and I’m rooting for the Jags to finally have some sort of success.
Jack Dale- Indianapolis- I have been taking David Garrard in most of my picks this year, but I have to be realistic. I don’t think that Jacksonville can sweep the Colts this year, and I don’t think the Jags can hold on to that top spot in the AFC south.
Trevor Kuss- Colts. despite his struggles I can bet against Peyton Manning when it comes to a late season game with the season on the line.

Kansas City @ St. Louis
Steven--Kansas City. Still in control of the division and can pick up an easy win against a young St. Louis team.
Jack Dale- Kansas City- As badly as I want the Raiders to make the playoffs, I have to take KC to beat the Rams so the Niners wont fall another game behind them.
Trevor Kuss- Rams. The Rams are good at home and are a lot better than people may think. This could be a lot closer if Matt Cassel ends up playing but I’ll still take the Rams/

Buffalo @ Miami
Steven--Buffalo. One thing the Bills have been able to do this year is score points. Miami has scored 20 points in the last two weeks combined. I think the Bills’ hot streak continues.
Jack Dale- Miami- Miami is riding high after an improbable win against the flailing Jets, and I expect them to continue this against the Bills.
Trevor Kuss- Dolphins. Despite Ryan Fitzpatrick getting way too much respect in the KDVS Sports Department (looking at you Kartar), I think the Bills are just a flat out bad team. The Phins have struggled all year but they should be able to take down the Bills

Detroit @ Tampa Bay
Steven-- Bucs. The Lions are struggling to put points up and the Bucs have a pretty good defence.
Jack Dale- Tampa Bay- What does Steve say? The Bucs beat bad teams? Yeah.
Trevor Kuss- Bucs. The Bucs defense is too good for the struggling Lions. plus that Josh Freeman guy isn’t halfbad either

Arizona @ Carolina
Steven--Carolina. The Cardinals’ offense looked absolutely garbage last week. Too bad they were playing the most garbage team in the league with the most garbage defense. Even though Carolina has everything to lose by winning, I still give them a shot to pull it out.
Jack Dale- Arizona- Oh hey let me go gouge my eyes out!
Trevor Kuss- Panthers. Both these teams are terrible, I almost just flipped a coin but I’ll just take the home team and leave it at that.

New Orleans @ Baltimore
Steven--Baltimore. Drew Brees trails only Eli Manning for the NFL lead in interceptions this year. Not a good sign for a matchup with one of the NFL’s best defenses.
Jack Dale- New Orleans- This one will be a good game, and I could see how one would rather take Baltimore, but I think that New Orleans has hit their stride late, and Baltimore barely walked away with their win on Monday.
Trevor Kuss- Saints. The Saints seem to be back in 2009 form and the Ravens have been off and on all year; this could be the game of the week if not for the NFC East matchup.

Philadelphia @ NY Giants
Steven--Philly. Michael Vick has had a great year and will lead the Eagles into the playoffs. You’re welcome Chris.
Jack Dale- Philadelphia- Vick’s play will continue, and I don’t think the Giants limited offense will do much against Philly, especially with Steve Smith out for the rest of the year.
Trevor Kuss- Giants. When in doubt take the home team, I think the Giants defense could potentially shut Vick down aside from 1 or 2 deep balls. It will be on the Giants run game to put up some points with the injuries to wide-out.

Atlanta @ Seattle
Steven--Atlanta. The Falcons are about 1 more win from resting their starters for the playoffs. Pete Carroll’s bunch has been inconsistent, with flashes of brilliance at times and immaturity at others.
Jack Dale- Atlanta- Although opponents often have trouble playing in Seattle, the best team in the NFC will not.
Trevor Kuss- Falcons. The Seahawks are a team that is still coming together, having 28 players who just joined the team this season. It also doesn’t help that they’re just not that good.

NY Jets @ Pittsburgh
Steven--Pittsburgh. Ok, I’ll say it. I don’t think the Jets are that good. Too many close games against bad teams. Pittsburgh is looking for a playoff spot and is hungry.
Jack Dale- Pittsburgh- The Jets will continue to spiral downward, wouldn’t it be funny if they didn’t reach the Playoffs this season?
Trevor Kuss- Steelers. Mark Sanchez is bad and still inexperienced; the Steelers D tends to take advantage of that. Look for a pick-6 and the Steelers to run away with this one

Denver @ Oakland
Steven--Oakland. Perfectly legitimate for people to wonder whether the Raiders can put up 100 points against the Broncos on the season. Tebow is not the answer. Neither is Kyle Orton. They need to go 1998 Florida Marlins on that team and pick Moreno, Clady, Dumervil and Royal out of the rubble, before starting over completely at every other position.
Jack Dale- Oakland- I hope Oakland does more of the same when it beat Denver 59-14
Trevor Kuss- Raiders. The Broncos are a team in shambles and the Raiders need this win to stay in the playoff race.

Green Bay @ New England
Steven--New England. Nobody has looked better lately than the Pats, while the Packers put up only 3 points against Detroit.
Jack Dale- New England- Even with Aaron Rodgers I would still take New England, the best team in football right now.
Trevor Kuss- Patriots. Best team in football possibly up against a back-up quarterback? although even if Rodgers plays I would take the Pats a home. Brady currently has a home winning streak of over 30 games.

Chicago @ Minnesota
Steven--Chicago. Playing on a neutral field. Outside. In the winter. In Minnesota. With a potential 3rd string quarterback. And an interim head coach. I would be very impressed if the Vikings won this game.
Jack Dale- Chicago- This game will be exciting for like the first 5 minutes when Mike Tirico, Jaws, and Jon Gruden will be gushing about the fact that the game is outside in Minnesota. Then the Bears will dominate. Then it will be boring.
Trevor Kuss- Bears. two words... Joe Webb.
