Show Description for Saturday 12/19/2009

We'll be pre-empted by UC Davis women's basketball.  The Aggies travel to New Haven, Connecticut to play the Yale Bulldogs. 

It's the birthday of the late Phil Ochs (1940-1976), a great topical singer cut down in what should have been his prime.  We'll feature his music when we sub for Robyne on the Saturday Morning Folk Show on Saturday, December 26.  

The American Bach Soloists present Handel's Messiah this evening at 7:30 pm at the Mondavi Center on campus.
