TONIGHT on 'the chicken years' w/ Mr. Mick Mucus (9-11 pm) Jesus Kobe on his way back home to Oaxaca, Mexico. Oaxaca is infamous for the 2006 uprisings where its citizens literally took over the media in an effort to expose government corruption. Kobe was witness to the 2006 uprising, including the murder of New York city Indybay reporter Bradley Will. Kobe strongly believes in the power of community media and has offered to do a mural for the Davis Media Access building while he's in Davis for a few weeks. The mural will be at home on the east side of the DCTV/KDRT station building @ 1623 Fifth street in Davis, CA.
