doubtless / easier to teach them to roar like gorillas

inferior gorillas / of course, lacking the wind sack

we have not yet calculated the sum     gorilla + bayonet

to be found among those who have not observed

                                      regulations

    not of course that we advocate--

    and yet petty larceny

    in a regime based on grand larceny

    might rank as conformity nient' altro
