Show Description for Monday 03/15/2010
This will be the last edition of 21st Century Schizophrenia for the winter quarter.  After the interim I'll be back in a different timeslot and with a sparkling new DJ name.  The menu for tonight: study music - post-rock (maudlin of the Well, Sigur Ros, A new Red Sparowes release), Mike Oldfield's Ommadawn, as well as some absolute jazz classics.  Nothing really upbeat, but the perfect aural drapery for your early-morning cram session.

2 The Gil Evans Orchestra Where Flamingos Fly Out Of The Cool MCA 1961 Where Flamingos Fly is a lovely piece by John Benson Brooks which features the solo trombone work of Jimmy Knepper.
