DJ End-Stop filing in another edition of Alphabet Soup. Here's a theoretical situation to think about as you enjoy the show: What if you had a machine that converted all music that you inputted to Musak? And let say that you took the musak that came out and put it back into the machine, creating Musakk (for simplicity sake, everytime you add another degree of musak-iness, it adds another k). Now lets imagine you created a feedback loop that continually converted the Musak into greater degrees of Musak. What would that sound like in the end? Would that create the most pleasant monotone sound ever? Would that create a note that makes everyone suicidal/homicidal? Would that create the brown note? Just a thought..... This Week's Featured Palindromes: Did I do, O God, did I as I said I’d do? Good! I did. I saw desserts; I’d no lemons, alas no melon! Distressed was I. Madame, not one man is selfless; I name not one, madam. Sex at noon taxes. Star comedy by Democrats. Yawn...Madonna fan? No damn way!! Yo bro! Free beer for boy!

Ms Palindrome is venturing forth into the world of higher education armed with only a thesaurus and a smile, so DJ End-Stop fills in this morning to remind everyone of the important lessons learned from watching That Thing You Do!: 1) If you're going to have just one hit, ride that baby into the ground. 2) A run-of-the-mill ballad sped up makes for a rocking good time. 3) If your band needs to break-up in order for you to end with the right girl, then the hell with the band. 4) Everyone will mess up your band name if you call yourselves the Wonders, but spell it "Oneders" This Week's Featured Palindromes: No, Mel Gibson is a casino's big lemon. Harass sensuousness, Sarah. Poor Dan is in a droop. Was it a car or a cat I saw? Go hang a salami; I'm a lasagna hog. Dammit, I'm mad! Evil did I dwell; lewd I did live.

THEMED SHOW: AN AMERICAN FOLK TRADITION. SEEGER. GUTHRIE. RAW and RUGGED FOLKINESS. MHHH... What the (American) folk! For her last show (for now...), DJ Palindrome will attempt to traverse the fine, fine world of folk, seeking truth, beauty, and love in its observations; perhaps it will even help her brave a new world... This Weeks Featured Palindromes: Lonely Tylenol. Never odd or even. I roamed under it as a tired, nude Maori. Draw, O coward! Straw? No, too stupid a fad; I put soot on warts. Are we not drawn onward, we few, drawn onward to a new era?
