After discussing historic and current events which sometime can overwhelm us, it is important to remember that there is the potential for compassion in all of us. Marc Ian Barash, author of Field Notes on the Compassionate Life, will be discussing how we can grow into more compassionate and appreciative beings. His book is simply beautiful and a great reminder of what we can learn and accomplish. You are sure to be inspired by one of the many lessons he relates. Oh, and to heighten your appreciation, we will be giving away a copy of the hardcover, Field Notes on the Compassionate Life to a lucky listener. Note: I have a new blog at http://kdvsitsaboutyou.blogspot.com Thank you, Eric!

Fadhil Al-Kazily - a soft- spoken civil engineer who was born and raised in Iraq just granted a moving and informative interview which will air this Monday. While even Red Cross isnt allowed to tend to or even speak up about the minimum of 800 civilian deaths in Fajoolah; it is so important to listen to those Americans whose relatives we are bombing. Except for one brother Fadhils entire family is in Iraq. If you know of anyone who can share this information please remind them to listen wherever they are this Monday at 8:30 am PST or throughout the week on our archives by visiting www.kdvs.org. Most of us have the luxury of focusing on many issues and even forgetting the harm we are causing overseas. Fadhil doesnt. For an hour on Monday, you are invited to enter his world. It is my fervent hope that you will.
