I was inspired by studing for biochemistry and physiology (how rare is that) to feature a brief history of electrophysiology and shocking dead things.

The illustration accompanied with today's show is from the Commentarius, a research document presented by Italian physician and phiolosopher Luigi Galvani in the 18th century.

Following that is an interview with health care journalist Emily Bazar. Her articles are featured in newspapes and websites around California, such as the SF Chronicle an the Sacramento Bee. She has a biweekly column called "Ask Emily" responding to readers' questions on the ACA carried by over 25 newspapers and radio stations. Emily  has recently been hosting forums around CA to answer questions about the new health care law. So what should college students in particular know about the ACA?
