Today's episode is an exploration of global medicine. I begin with an interview of the UCD medical student who founded the nonprofit SAHLUD, which serves in both the US and Ecuador. This is followed up with a segment on the UCD undergraduate student group MedLife and stories on their recent trip to Cuzco, Peru. My last guest was a combat medic in Israel and now studies at UCSF.
