Sad to report that early British Prog pioneer Kevin Ayers passed away early this week. We was a founding member of Soft Machine and a very influential songwriter. We'll hear a cut from their first album in his honor.
Lots of variety today and we'll end the show with Supper's Ready, the Genesis classic in its entirety. Played from the original vinyl I bought in 1972. It's been around over 40 years and might have a scratch or pop here and there - but I prefer to think of them as wrinkles in fine leather.
