FEVER DREAM IV: Future Casualties

Finally home. To be back in Fever City is a mixed blessing. Although the familiar ringing that reverberates in the many empty streets recalls many memories, the city has a way of dimming the senses, causing one to feel inert and only capable of sitting in a dark room as music plays.  Many songs billowing up from the chimneys of the metropolis sound different than you remember. A new year must have arrived while you were gone.
