Thursday, March 15, 2012 – Teachers Gone Wild:
The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Native American family in western New Mexico after a pregnant teen was allegedly asked to announce her pregnancy in front of the entire school. In Wisconsin, a teacher takes on a student for speaking her Native language. And just last month two teachers in Los Angeles were jailed and fired for alleged lewdness. What’s going on in our classrooms? Are teachers overstepping their boundaries? How are these and other questionable teacher acts shaking the foundation of parental trust?
