Hey there KDVS'ers!
This is Shiva here from the Events Department here to update you on some things we'll be doing in this year that i am very enthusiastic about..
As some of you know, we do a lot of our KDVS Presents shows at a venue called The Hub, and with the Events Department sponsoring The Hub, we would love to put up a banner.. WIth your help, we are going to be making this happen!
So we are doing a KDVS BANNER CONTEST:The design must have KDVS. Freeform Radio. 90.3 FM, KDVS.ORG and Davis, CA on it.... Anyone can do this.. Tell your friends and whoever wins, gets FREE admission to the hub for 12 shows of your choice.. and your banner will be up!!
Also, If you take photographs at events! We would love to see them! Send them over to kdvsevents(AT)gmail.com and they could be featured in our quarterly issue of KdviationS! We are also going to be updating our events calender, so feel free to contact the same address to get your event posted on the website..
Also, the recycled clothing store Jacksonfly behind Peets coffee and Newsbeat in Downtown Davis will be selling KDVS shirts and records on consignment...
The store may be looking to do some events...if you are interested in doing a film screening, a show, poetry reading?
OR!! if you make art, jewelry, clothing, anything! The store is interested in serving as a DIY art space in Downtown Davis.. Feel Free to contact kdvsevents(at)gmail.com
Last but not least, If you have a party coming up or any sort of event where you would be interested in KDVS personally DJing.. Contact the events department as well to get a hook up with our awesome DJ's and our Mobile DJ Unit
