Really Digging the new Beaks Plinth

Just got a listen to the new Beaks Plinth cd at the station. Slowed down Organ records are my new jam for the moment. With this trend of slowed down music I have to ask if there isn't anything that sounds good at 1/4 speed? So far I might have to say no....

KDViationS Deadline Swiftly Approaching!

For all interested in contributing to the upcoming Fall 2010 issue of KDViationS, get your show photos, interviews, artwork, poetry, schematics, show reviews, album reviews, articles, spreadsheets, how-to's, or whatever else ready because the DEADline will be September 3, 2010.

You can submit them in-person at KDVS (14 Lower Freeborn Hall, Davis, CA 95616) or through electronic mail at:

Fundraiser T-Shirts

Hey everybody, All of our fundraiser t-shirt orders have arrived for KDVS shirts in all styles as well as the beautiful public affairs tote bag. Come on down to the station to pick up your premiums, If you have not already paid you can pay by cash or check right here at the station when you pick up your stuff.  You can find our lovely radio station at 14 Lower Freeborn hall on the north sideof the UC davis campus.
If you can't make it down to the station you can send in your pledges to:

Sterile Garden, Algiers, Behavior, Lavas/Magmas KDVS Presents show last winter

Video recording (that's right a VHS recording) of a KDVS Presents show this past December. Sets are divided by video. I'll post them in the actual order of the show, so its just like being there except without the social interaction. Click "Read More" to see the rest of the videos.

The first set didn't make it to this post, though because it features two KDVS DJs (Charmin Ultra and Wooden Womb) it should be making an appearance in the future.
